I Finally own one :-)
Got rid of company cars and now bought a D3
A week in and well chuffed, bought from Yeovil Land Rover with great service, 2 years servicing and warrantee.
This was on the forecourt
So here is Monty 58 HSE in Bournville, with side steps and new grill, bit of bling
Just a rear view camera to go now! No there's a can of worms!

is true I was happy with my car till about 3 week ago and started reading this forum. Now I've done d4 grill de tango with drls satnav going in on Saturday with all the business. Other plans too just can't stop Discovery 4

Quite pleased with the way it is already, it has cream leather interior with Piano black pillars. With all the bells and whistles inside.
I borrowed a D4 2 years ago from my old boss and went to France for 2 weeks, the main thing I miss from that is the rear view camera, so that will be the next main mod, seems to cost around £250 for the box and camera, so will have to wait for a while
But will no doubt get more ideas reading further, bit of a step up from my disco 200 from about 15 years ago
