Poorboys Black Hole......go and get it!!!!
Spent 4 hours today on the car. Being black it had the usual paint issues. Loads of swirls, holograms and highs and lows. The sun hit it the other day and it looked a right state.
Well, after lots of reading went for poorboys black hole and natty paste wax.
The black hole is epic!!! Went on nicely by hand and came off very easily. It covers ups and evens out marks and swirls so well. It has no cut in it at all so go as long as you like with it. It looked completely different after just one go round. Still needs a top wax coat to protect it. Natty paste is good and smells nice but is not the stand out product here.
When in direct sunlight it just looks so much better. In shade, it is mirror finish.
I'm really chuffed and just waiting for my new forum purchased arches to come back from the paint shop
Photos taken on a camera phone so don't do the finish justice.

+1 from another black car. Blackhole is a great glaze for filling swirls. I use it with a random orbital dual action machine for extra bling
Also used that wax smells like bubblegum

SWMBO won't let me buy a polisher. After the bodykit, parrot, wheels, arches, fbh timer and recent Cambelt she is having a sense of humour failure

Looking good
Where did you get the poorboys from?
SWMBO has a black Toyota and it looks terrible when the sun comes out.
I should really get the mopp on it, but I just can't be bothered Lee

Best gear on the market for black and helps to keep the look with a good sealer applied after application.
Your car looks well

seen as this thread is going down a detailing route, what do you guys and gals use on your plastic arches to keep them black?

Or a cheap alternative for trim which I use is Mer trim and tyre gel, a bit messy but soon get the hang of using it. It doesn't last as long as some but it looks well and the more you use it the better it lasts on the plastics.
A bottle will last you for a few years guaranteed which makes it very cheap.
