They do have an uprated brake pad, but it is very expensive, and probably not made for the D3
The EBC Ultimax are a very similar pad, in my experience

Reading this reminds me why I always stick to oe LR brake parts. Never get any hassle.
I get them delivered from The Large One (TLO) aka Nick Lee parts manager at Yeovil.
