spill pipe blowing off???????!!!!!!!! |

has anyone had this problem and if so what is the solution please????? spill pipe keeps blowing off once replaced the next one blows off causing deisel loss, steam and smell and the potential for worse!!!!!

thanks for prompt reply,the pipes are blowing off at the point where they just push on,if that makes sense !! my first fix was to put cable ties,but then the next one does it etc,the vehicle is in a disco/4x4 garage and they are baffled!!last i heard they were going to check the fuel lines back to the tank,it tests ok on a spill test,grief or what

Yes I know exactly what you are on about, it happened to me today , plumes of smoke and I dare say a very close engine fire , after a long run spanking it, bit of smoke the lots of smoke , pulled over smoke out of bonnet, twitching moment!!! So what's the best solution?

Try tie wiring them on... Failing that, new fuel leak off pipes.
Been there.
I also needed new injector

we eventually found it was the return valve on top of the fuel tank,after several hours labour,cost £500,d3 sure do cost a lot to run!!
