Can anyone guide me on somewhere to buy a full set of discs and pads please. I'm going to fit them my self I think with help. I got quoted £370 +vat to do all brakes with wear sensors too. Discovery 4

I fitted the V8 upgrades on the front from Steve at Advanced,.
Fantastic stuff - real difference in stopping power.
Highly recommended upgrade.

Regardless where you buy from - consider it essential to buy quality parts.
2,5 tons weight are demanding reliable parts. At the same time check your pistons if they can freely move in the caliper. Better to lift the sealing rubber on the outer part and see if there is some dirt and to prevent it from moving.
Other than this consider the brake bible - available in this forum - as your friend.

I've always used Genuine LR brake parts for the last 8 years.
I also did the V8 brake upgrade, one of the best mods you can do to a D3, IMO.

Borg and beck kit from AF work well, I have V8 upgrade front and rear far better braking now it doesn't scare me.
