You and I are in the same boat
Came home yesterday to find the 4yo next door had had a go at my back quarter panel with a stone coated brush, luckily none were deep , as there are only ourselves and one neighbour sharing the access and the wife had witnessed him running around with the brush then it was clear who was responsible so straight next door for the confrontation.
Today was spent polishing out the marks, they are probably only noticable to me now, but I just know its going to irritate me.There are 10 types of people in this world ~ those that understand binary and those that don't.

Hi All.
It really makes my blood boil when people scratch your hard earned pride and joy. Had the same problem, put CCTV facing my Disco, and the problem stopped. Expensive, but I thought it was worth it.

I always think the same thing. Unfortunately, at the moment I have to park on a street with a high pedestrian traffic, particularly after they've had a skin-full at the weekend. As a result, the scratches are beginning to mount up. Nothing that won't polish out yet, but I'm mindful that my previous car looked like it had been rolled within about 6 months of arriving here.

I don't either and I'm fortunate enough to garage mine at night, only time it has slept under the stars is on holiday.
My problem is car parks, twice in one day in different car parks whilst I was sat in the car waiting for HWMBO I had the car bumped with car doors, the attitude of people when accosted is unbelievable, one chap even pointed to the side rubbing strips and said "isn't that what they are for?", needless to say they where both grossly obese. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Had exactly the same on wife's car - brand new, only 2 weeks old
Soon sorted and his pocket somewhat lighter. Something about not liking hospital food

Hi Discologist.
Park my car on a street just like yours, high pedestrian traffic and worse at weekends, drunken louts etc., we get them all.... thats why I installed CCTV, to prevent damage (friends car on same street has had mirrors smashed twice before), if they do damage my car I now have proof and evidence......and hopefully catch the culprits.
