On my way to Scarborough with the caravan.....
Then loss of power 
Then everything stopped 
AA come out recover us, off A1m checked car over at services and say
Seized engine 
So this ain't going to be cheap
Any recommendations for
1) sell on, if so I can only assume mot much for a non going disco3, even for breaking for parts
2) engine rebuild
3) second hand engine
At the mo my heart is ruling my head and feeling very fed up and can't see any solutions Discovery 3, TDV6 S, 2005(55), Java Black

The knowledgable will be along soon but you need to find the cause. If crank related, LR have recently acknowledged there is an issue and may have a liability. Is oil filter twisted as this can cause failure so perhaps last service garage could be at fault? 2005 should be too early for oil pump casing issue but you never know.

That's bad luck when least expect it. Some guys have put in recon engines on here. Search the site other examples of seized engines.
