Picking up our D3 on Sunday
It's a 2010 se in metallic blue. Looking forward to having a proper drive in one, we test drove it and had an independant inspection.
It suffered quite a bit of road noise from the front which we think is probably due to mismatching budget tyres.
I'm looking to put a new pair on the front to start with, any recommendations? I'm looking for a quiet ride as a priority, off roading is not so much of an issue, we do a bit of logging and will have an occasional need to take it off road. Long life is also a high priority.
Will look to replace rears at a later date.

Try Andy at AJS ( site sponsor )
He will advise and good prices too.
Then you can take them to local tyre fitter to get fitted/balanced.
( about £10 each)
I have general grabber A/T good all rounders IMO
D3 57 xs Stornaway grey
D2 02 commercial silver gone but a great servant and won't be forgotten
May also be front wheel bearing/s - if you got a warranty of any kind they should sort it.
Best thing to do is get it serviced straight away, that will find any issues that you haven't been told about.A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.

Good Year Efficient Grip will give you a smooth quiet ride and is fine for general snow and muddy field situations. I've had mine on for 12 months, they wear well and I've taken my trailer with 2 ton load through many muddy fields etc.

I don't know an awful lot about Land Rovers, my last one was a Series 3! but yes it's an SE.
Looking forward to getting it, but not enjoying the £500 tax, my other cars a hybrid.
