Finally picked my disco up and I got me a problem! !!
As I drove out of the forcourt I was feeling rather smug in my dream problematic beast, until 10 mins down the road and I tried the wipers with no joy 😕 when I got home had a quick look at the fuse and it was blown as i had no spare and I wanted to checkcheck so I removed the 30amp trailer pickup battery fuse as it's a 30 amp now today as I took her for a drive down the m60 all going great had her in cruise control around 70 mpg then all of a sudden high revs and a transmission fault limited gears only so I had to crawl at 50 mpg to keep the revs down. After turning the car off the fault cleared but came back once I reached over 60 mpg again noticed the Rev counter being a little over rev at times. Could the removed fuse cause this?

I hope you're meaning mph not mpg!! If you're getting 70mpg you have a serious issue 26 and on the 4th LR..
