Tailgate stuck (cable broken) how to open ??? |
|
Seems like my tailgate release cable is broken (or come out) the motor is actuating so I assume that the micro switch is ok in this instance. Now the issue is that the car goes back in 10 days so I can live with a broken boot for that period that's ok however I need to get my towing electrics wiring loom out as it will go on the new D4 coming I have managed to get the outside part out, that was OK but from memory and from what I can see you need to access the light unit to disconect the inside part of the loom and to get the light unit out guess what you need the boot down
How can I open the boot now the cable is not working, how would LR get it open ? there must be a plan B. I've tried all the usual ideas (found on here) like re-setting the locks etrc but as it sems like it is a mechanical failure this will not help.
I just need it opened once !!!!!
