MC_Blade's Silver softie Transformation thread
Hi all I have a few mods I intend to do to my D3 so it I thought I'd start my own build thread, to share ideas with everyone as I progress....
Having had my D3 since December I have decided she looks a little tame and being silver also a little dull (silver was more a case of what was available) so I intend on toughing her up a little, so lets begin.....
Introducing my 09 D3 XS Manual AKA "The silver Softie"
Does she look scared??
Regards,
Matt

Go on then, who thought I'd get caught out? Thinking I loads of time - on with a coat of poor boys wheel sealer before I put them on, 2 on the car, back inside the other 2 are dry and ready to buff off, and in walks SWMBO... Ooops. Oh well she didn't say much, but her folks are visiting tomorrow so I will pay one way or another!
Still got to fit the sump plate, do the Tints and a beanie grill will be on its way shortly - more pictures to follow.Regards,

So here's where I was when SWIMBO Came home... Half way through polishing off the 3rd wheel
Today first thing I took her for a 4 wheel alignment (Set here to close tolerance mode with my Nanocom first)
Then when I got home had received some replacement wheel nuts I had ordered from Steve at Advanced Factors to replace my "Swollen Nuts" - Due to the cost of buying black nuts (which would only get scratched when used anyhow) I opted to get some Gloss black nut covers, much better at 10 quid for all 4 corners!
Regards,
Matt

The look so far...
Tints to rear windows to do, Sump plate and on the look out for some Tree sliders
If pro speed would sort themselves out I would like the tree sliders from them, but alas with failed promises on a Promo and no inserts more than six months after the released them I may have to look else where, so open to suggestions ?Regards,
Matt
