6 Months in.. (ish)

So its just coming up to 6 months since I took the plunge into the disco 3 world -

7500 miles -

£million in diesel

a couple of "they all do that sir faults"

It is an excellent family car however.. and this is where I don't like saying this on a public forum..

I'm not in love with this car...! Shocked

I must be the only person in the world but I cant get comfy, and it is really really ruining the drivability and comfort of the car.

Don't get me wrong its brilliant and I love having it in my life, but I'm already considering what I could replace it with that doesn't have part of the lower console sticking into my left leg all the time..

I do a fair few 2 - 4 hour journeys and I spend the entire time trying to get my left leg comfortable Sad

I desperately wanted this car to be a keeper for years and years and years but I now just don't know - shame there is nothing similar to replace it with.

Shame really, maybe I just need to grow a LR size pair and get on with it.

Anyone else have this very very very first world problem?

Cheers

Alex

There isn't, so suck it up and get comfy!

..But seriously, I've never had this problem. There is nothing as comfy for lugging loads and families long distance, nothing comes close.

Reckon you've probably not spent the time in getting the right seat position.
If you've come from a car, the natural tendency would be to set your seat in a similar position.
Try putting the back more upright and move slightly closer to the wheel.
I had a similar situation but in reverse when I went from my D4 to a car and got backache.
Eventually I sat in the car for 15 minutes just moving the seat around the various positions until I got the optimum position and never looked back .......
........ except I got rid of it because I realised I just don't like cars!
