Hi I was wondering if the gap tool can fix the stop go lurch my truck is experiencing. I heard it was a software issue and that there was a update that could possibly cure this. Or do I need to go to the dealer to get this resolved? Narpy's Grill Mod, Suspension Rods, Ultra guage, wrangler Goodyear duratracs 265/60/18, new thermostat, diff oils changed, brake switch new, aluminum rack floor, LED driving lights in foglights, rear camera, just need gvif unit, next on list! New front arb bushings, new front valve block, 191,000 miles.

Are you talking about the famous 6HP26 'lurch' which is like a slight bump as soon as the car stops?
Or a slightly harsh 2-1 gear rollout shift? That's another known issue on 6HP26.
I fixed the 'lurch' on my RRS with a fluid change. Still have a relatively harsh 2-1 rollout shift. Is this a programming issue?
