CW - it's the same one jeff66 posted in his gallery....though now that i've check, jeff66 mentioned $20ea. Some of the others though seem to be getting them for 1/2 that.

PS> how are the Grabbers? I'm coming very close to tyres myself after 32k

there are two types being mentioned, one has two blades and arms for $10 I tried them first and after venturing through a puddle found that they didn't shift the same volume of water as the OEM's so tried the more expensive ones which look very similar to the OEM's but are silent and the volume of water shifted is on a par. have't tried the Grabbers yet, the wife is due home tonight so some night bush driving will be forced upon me Very Happy
she did say they feel sluggish on the highway though which is odd as I could put square wheels on and she probably wouldn't notice

Rolling with laughter ...........danger, danger, young will robinson.....that sort of talk can only get you deeper in it!!!

Am now understanding the difference in blades. We were in Tumut on the weekend and I could only get one blade to replace the original and it was one of the old style with blade and arm assembly (I was desperate at the time).....required a great deal of bending and adjusting to try and get the right angle.

Will invest in the LR style units (while they're $2 off Laughing )

For those of you having issues with the after market sets where lots of bending and adjusting seems to be required, before you set too too much, try revesing the arm. I found the arms pick up points seem not to be dead centre, and simply turning them through 180deg, which requires reclipping the hook to suit, was all that was required.
I'm not sure there is more than one type of arm, but there is certainly a number of blades suitable for replacement (as per earlier post...coloured muti blade, twin etc) for the arms. A set of rubbers only will set you back maybe $5, but the arms only need to be purchased once.

Thanks everyone, I've only had my D3 for 3 months but the wipers are driving me insane. Went to LR dealer and they offered to sell me replacements for $60 each so just put up with it till today. Picked up a set of Aunger 560's at Super cheap $20 each and now silence and wiping like you would expect from an $80k vehicle. Brilliant, why can't LR get their blades at Super Cheap ??? Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Glad I found this thread, I dropped into Rolfe Motors in Canberra and they quoted $150 for a pair. Bought an oil filter and left!

Had mine replaced by the dealer before Christmas only took 1:30 and with the travel time 3 hours. Thought I had wasted my time but seems it was worth $50 an hour and got to watch cricket

Like caver after putting up with the original blades these are great.

After having peace and quiet from the aftermarket blades I decided at the service to refit the originals which I had kept luckily and put the hard word on LR to replace. Pleasant surprise the $150 blades were replaced no problems so now I have a slightly used aftermarket set as spares and brand new silent (for now) LR ones for free. Will have to see how long these genuine ones last. Thumbs Up

Hi All. Just a question, I think I know the answer, but will ask it. Is the 560 the soft blade simp to the Land rober one, or are the like the old solid frame with blade.
