Emergency door lock
Ok , a last year I think I broke the mechanism for the lock , I'm assuming it's on a cable or a rod ? But how to I get to it ? I've got the inner door of , I need to do this as my central locking can be a bit bit temperamental after some bad weather

To remove the emergency lock remove the cover from the lock, remove access plug on inside edge of door inline with lock, loosen single torx screw and the lock comes out from the front of the door. Effectively the cylinder is just a small module that mates with the latch mechanism inside the door.

Pretty much done that already. The door latches used be £30 odd and I grumbled when they hit £40 odd. I shudder to think what price they are now given their current parts price policy.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

£80 with forum discount from Yeovil LR. I had to buy one last week when the clean the motor trick didn't work.

Stew, good luck putting that lot back together. I did mine a couple of years ago, what a pig of a job. You need tiny hands with long double-jointed fingers.
