I have owned my D3 V8 for about 3 weeks but have experienced issues with the auto gearbox, not engaging drive and dropping out of drive when making a left turn uphill.
So today I visited Quattro AutoCare at Riccall near York, for a Mega Flush, they were very helpful and efficient at doing the job. After the flush I was amazed at the difference, gears selected smoothly, the box was quiet, no loss of drive, they also freed the g/box selector making movement of the selector easier, so the car is now driving as it should, well worth the time and money.

Not engaging drive and dropping out of drive are sure-fire signs of a gearbox selector linkage that needs lubrication, so all should be well.
Having fault codes read before flushing is considered a must.

I needed two tubes of Dr Tranny after visiting the guys near Selby to cure the judders.
Did you visit Quattro auto sport numpty? If so Would you recommend them. They seem to be the closest to me. Quoted £260 for the megaflush and £20 to put two tubes of dr tranny in. I haven't got any problems or any shudders as of yet so I'd rather fix a problem before it arises

Had mine done yesterday at Evans of Crossways, Near Dorchester, Dorset. Nice friendly service.
It's like a different car!
Once again I praise this forum for excellent information . I had the classic symptoms described in several threads. amazing how a mere fluid can have such an effect on a heavy mechanical system.
