Just got limp mode and code P140E.
Comes back even after clearing codes and restart.
No other faultcodes.
Disco3 TDV6 Auto MY2008 230 000kms
EGR changed:
2010 03 23 left hand 53 771 kms
2012 12 19 left hand 130 812 kms
2013 03 05 right hand 134 215 kms
2015 04 30 right hand 182 419 kms
2016 12 15 right hand 220 000 kms

Is P140E a faulty left hand EGR?

urhunden - I am not an expert but I did manage to get a MS Word doc some time back called Land Rover DTC (codes and subcodes)

It simply states that P140E = "Exhaust gas recirculation position sensor C minimum/maximum stop performance".

I don't think this answers your question regarding left or right but it is the best I can do. Good luck!

The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)
