the engine and gearbox seized at the same time (looks like )

I have a d3 tdv6 and I was not driving when the engine and gearbox seized at the same time (looks like )

I have taken the engine totally apart and is just the block and two screws from the crankshaft

but cant turn the gearbox can someone help please . Big Cry

I did put the gear into N but there is no power in the car so jus on the auto gearbox under the selector plastic lifted the selector latch... Sad


please help if you have an idea

Can you turn the crankshaft? I believe it gets locked together until you can turn the crankshaft back. Disco Mikey may be able to provide more info Thumbs Up

Has the crank seized/broken, and you cannot undo the torque converter bolts?

OK the crankshaft is loose of the bare block is on top so i need to separate this from the auto gearbox

the auto box is solid and i did neutral still same no spin

so i need proper idea what to do next Big Cry


as the gearbox if need service is all done from the front


i don't like to lift the cabin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so please help

once again the engine was seized ......due to oil issues from brother Big Cry

It is highly unlikely the gearbox has seized at exactly the same time as the engine.

Can you turn the crankshaft at all? The last seized bottom end I had, I had to remove the engine and TC at the same time, and unbolt the TC separately
