Disco 3 number 4
Crazy I know but I now have my 'new' D3 (which is the 4th in less then 2 years) and I forgot just how damn good these cars are. Had it for 2 days and the permagrin is well and truly back. I really am keeping this one
Gone back to manual box and enjoying it a lot, although the lag in 1st gear is a lot worse than I remember, much more noticeable than in the Auto. Pulling away from rest is very sluggish until the revs get up. Is it worth 'tuning' to get rid of this or does it have no effect at low revs/speed?2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

How fast do you want it
Yes, it will improve low rev take off progressively the improvement is much more noticable with a manual 'box as there are no torque converter losses 8)
What MY have you bought?

Whilst posting tonight, I have been watching one of my all time favourite films - Top Secret. They've just had the bit where the French resistance leader is introducing his men. One of them is called Deja Vu, who says, "Have we met before Monsieur?" Can't have been more than 10 minutes after posting my first Deja Vu post. Uncanny.

I actually recomend that you fit them to your D3 instead, they will be brighter that way mate Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

Welcome back (not that U really went away). U started moding it up yet, you're bound to have a few sets of wheels still stashed away???
No mods yet, sold off all the wheels, was thinking of putting 19" HSE's on but the 18's look pretty good and I may put AT2's on them too. Wish list includes a snorkel, roof bars and ladder 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
