I am now hooked
I picked up my D3 yesterday it was quite a trek and a little flight.
But defiantly worth it. I got it to replace my 90 and will use it for some off roading. I got a list of thing I am planning on doing to you.
I believe some may already know about the truck as it's been in the forum for a while it made it back from Scotland with out issue and even managed to take it out for a few little lanes today.
I am now hooked.

Welcome to the club Quite a trek yeah but oodles of time to appreciate the difference in a 4x4 from the 90 Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
I would Reply:

I'm a 90 owner who is considering selling to buy a disco 3 mainly due to a baby on the way so thinking more comfy for wife getting in. I do quite a bit of greenlaning so thought the disco would be an ideal replacement, have you got any regrets with the change from 90 to disco?
Cheers Paul

I did the same replaced 90 with the D3 no regrets, wont be laning it though as all the Kent lanes are so tight body damage is a given.
Have got worse this year as no one seems to have driven them.
One Kent lane and yes it is a proper byway!

Yeah Graham got back with ease. Dont worry I will wash it.
I only have the d3 a day and done a couple of tame lanes i know, there are a bit wider then a 90 so i suspect it will get a bit scratched eventually. But had the kids and swmbo with me today on a couple of lanes and we all enjoyed it we could hear each other and the ride is smooth as you like.

You'll be glad you dont have colour coded wheel arches when you go down narrow lanes! The black ones hide the scratches nicely.Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

I should think I be going on the rough stuff at some point. Got to sort the 90 out first.
Got the sat nav mounted now and the led interior lights. Also tow bar removed as it was catching off road.
Have booked a few days in wales in March that should be fun hopefully be able to show up my mates 90. I have had it in extended mode and it's got the clearence underneath compare to my 90.
