I only managed to pressure wash my LR this Sunday. My drive is a mess with mud as it has been falling off all week.
I've just spent £96 with Paddock Spares for replacement bits damaged on my LR on the Wiltshire day. Still, it could of been much worse. I thought I'd left the transmission behind in the lane at a few points.
One of the mudflaps ripped off, which isn't a problem, but it also pulled out the metal bracket from the chassis making a rather large whole in it, exposing rust I didn't know it had. So it needs a bit of welding before I can fix the new mudflap brackets in place.
Also the rear steps got mangled, so I've ordered a folding step this time.
Also a metal panel in the n/s front wheel arch has been torn and bent open. Not sure how this was done. Maybe one of the branches got stuck in there during the pull through the lane from hell.
This off-roading is costing me £100 each event on replacement parts. I think I'll have to start taking being a little more gentle on it. Next event is Abingdon 4x4 festival this weekend. Matt

I've lost a tyre shortly after each offroad event, usually with a sidewall puncture with flint in it, so similar costs to you.
Fun though

Before you get me doing it, as JMC how good a job I did on mine!!! I had the sttitude get it on the paint & don't worry too much about getting excess on the plastic. It dries to a royal blue, spent half an hour cleaning it off the plastic trim yesterday before I washed the car. Honda dogs say "Spring is sprung, the grass is rizz, why is our garden still full of snow??"
