Front drive Halfshaft seal RH

Does anyone have experience changing the front RH halfshaft oil seal for a NAS V8 LR3?

I can't seem to find much activity on this, so wondering it it's relatively straightforward. Was changing my oil the other day and noticed the leak from the bottom of the axle tube to my skid plate.

Any idea how urgently I should be getting under there to repair the seal?

Thanks.

Getting the halfshaft out is the biggest part of the job, but straight forward enough, you will neeed a new hub nut and a Torque loader that can tighten it up..

Do a search on the board its been coverd before.

Once the shaft has been removed check the support bearing inside the extension tube. I've recently collected a new front differential from a local gearbox specialist and they've seen an increase in failed extension tube bearings.
