Known my way round most of the parts you have described, most of it is easily fixed so it really depends on whether Mike though the rest of the motor is worth it?
For couple hundred quid mike could have all this address I would think.
As to paying 12k ouch, it should have been mint for that.
I would take it to a Vosa inspection centre and pay for official write up.
Then go back to the seller and create merry hell. You are obligated to let them fix all items to you satisfaction, or get a price from mike all in, and get it in writing and get that amount back to fix the car properly

Well, I think you should be careful about naming the supplier until you have given them chance to respond. They may be unaware of the issues, or sympathetic, and might even give you your money back! so why name them now? Surely you have to give them a chance to rectify the situation before burning any bridges.

That sounds like a good plan.
I have declared the current milage with trading standards as it is unsafe to drive. Should I get a tow to the test centre? Any idea how much a test cost?

Have you been in touch with the dealership? Did it have any warranty?
I realise that you are naturally feeling crappy but this is a public forum so airing grievances before you have been in contact and given an opportunity for them to sort the issues can backfire tbh. I would keep their name out of it for now tbh.
