Depends on what type of driving you're doing. Not many fast motorways on Sutherland, assuming "normal" roads I'd estimate it at between 24 & 26mpg.

How long is a piece of string
As with any car, it all depends very much on driving style, taking it easy with decent long runs on motorways or decent A roads, you might get low 30's.
Drive it like you just stole it, or just short stop/start journeys, you could be down to the high teens.Clive

It's a 3T vehicle with permanent 4WD and the aerodynamics of a brick; there's plenty of hills around your way so expect mid to low 20's.GAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics

Just done 900 mile trip from Ireland to UK and back. Filled before I left Ireland, topped up twice in UK and then filled to brim again once I got back home.
927 miles
27.69 MPG
I get this on most long trips if I take it easy, if I hammer it, I can get it down to about 23 MPG, on the roads here in Ireland, lots of stop/Starts I only get 24MPG if I take it easy and again if I give her the beans I can get it under 20MPGDale
