Headlights have a mind if their own

Hi all

I have an hse with the all singing all dancing (literally) headlights. Generally they are pointing very low and I can't see a thing more than 10 metres in front of me, but then they seem to raise up and then that's fine, but then they go back down. This happens constantly when driving. They are mainly down though. I've tried adjusting via the Philips screws but they don't move at all in any direction. Can anyone help please do I can actually see at night when I'm driving
Thanks
Glen

Have you got adaptive lights on yours? They’d normally do a little “dance” on startup when working.

Hi mate, yes I have and they do the dance when they start, as they should do .so I think they are working as they should be. The suspension is all fine, I even calibrated it through sdd just to make sure it wasn't that causing a problem but they still sit low. I'm worried that if I do figure out how to adjust them, then when driving and they start to raise in their own they will be mega high and blind everyone coming the other way. Is there a way to reset the standard headlight height through sdd software does anyone know?

There’s a self levelling control unit that takes a feed from the suspension, could be that it thinks your back end is low (as it would be under weight or towing) so lowers the lights to compensate but you said you’d calibrated that so less likely, not sure what else it takes a feed from.
