Help appreciated

Had a few faults come up and limp mode, had faults read and they are as below, could anyone give me an idea what is wrong, the only thing I have done is pushed back the red plug in front of the oil filter to clear another fault.
U0401 invalid data from ecm
U0416 invalid data from vehicle dynamics control module
P0405 egr low sensor A
P2290 injector control pressure low
P0832 clutch pedal switch A circuit high
B1B74 front mode defrost stepper actuator
B1B75 front foot face stepper actuator
B1B76 front left air blender
B1B77 front right air blender
B1B46 rear right inner sensor
U1032 no data found for this one
U0100 lost communication with em/ power train module A

Can anyone help please?
Pete

Given your other issue I would now clear all the faults and see what comes up again.

Thanks Robbie, I've cleared the faults, I'll take it for a run tomorrow, so much for the free fix I thought I had earlier! Big Cry

I would concentrate on P2290 - low fuel pressure Thumbs Up

Mike, on a different thread the chap had a disconnected fuel rail temp sensor, so the P2290 code will have probably been set when the ECM went into the default fuel pressure value mode.

Interestingly, there is no code stored for the fuel temp sensor being open circuit Confused

In light of this new evidence, clear the codes, road test and recheck Thumbs Up

Hi, took the car for a run this morning, reread the faults, they are all back except P2290 injector pressure low, but now there is P0087 fuelrail pressure low, also I have U3003 battery voltage it was a new battery in October, these all seem to have appeared since I pushed the red plug on correctly, I've lost engine fault system text but now have all these, could the plug not being engaged properly since the last service just before Christmas have caused the sensor to go faulty?

When I had the fuel rail temp sensor disconnected mine went into limp mode nearly exactly ever 15-20 miles. I soon reconnected it Smile

Mine wasn't completely disconnected but it did bring the fault text up about every 20 miles and limp mode at about 50 mph.

The key improvements are that the vehicle now drives ok and that you do not have warning messages on the dash - result.

The U-codes can usually be ignored if they are not linked to a specific fault, but it is always a good idea to keep an eye on battery and alternator voltages when the car is having issues. Low voltages will cause havoc on a D3.

With the return of the P-codes the fuel system is now under suspicion. You will need to confirm that the fuel leaving the LP system is at the correct pressure. If that is ok then thoughts would move to the HP pump. LP pump issues are not uncommon as they do wear out and the fuel filter can also restrict flow.

The LP issues are widely covered on the forum if you do a search. If you want to do some more fault finding then we can help with that too. Equally you may wish to seek a good indy.
