Speed sensor wires

Having bought a Haynes manual I now find that it doesn't have much on the wiring diagrams that I was hoping to find.I recently replaced the f/o/s speed sensor only to find I'm still getting all the dash lights and fault code ...
Vehicle Dynamic

C1A94-13 (0B) Front right wheel speed sensor circuit - General electrical failure - circuit open

Am I right in my thinking that this is a wire break between the connector in the wheel arch and the connection at the ABS unit itself .If this is the problem, can anyone tell me what colour cable will it be and what pins it will be

Thanks.....john

Thanks Robbie and Allan both a big help.
When I loosened the inner arch away I found one of the small wires had come away from the connector.I have carefully put it back into its place and connected the battery and started it up.Still got all the bloody lights on the dash, plugged in my iid tool and cleared all the faults but still got the ABS ,P brake ,hdc off and special programs unavailable .I'll give it a couple of days thought and if it gets too much I can see me talking to Mikey
Thanks for your help guys

John

Give it a good session on a battery charger. With all the faffing the battery may have had enough, triggering the failures you see.

Might be worth a try Robbie, this last couple of weeks it's just been getting the odd 5-6 mile trip into town and with messing about with this fault and the fbh too the battery might just be a little on the low side
Fingers crossed again Thumbs Up

Ok ,now that we have charged the battery and done another iid tool scan I'm once again showing the original fault, and now knowing that one of the wires has come adrift of the connector on the actual harness and my attempt at repositioning it into said connector has failed ,can you tell me ,is it possible to repair the connector or is it a replaceable part

Thanks. John

On further investigation it would appear the connector does not include the terminals, but this thread http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic109230.html?view=previous indicates the FBH wire available from the shop could be substituted in place of the original terminal.
