Thanks Spanner & BLFarrar
Popped out to the shops yesterday, and out of the blue the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, and the suspension dropped to the end stops with a jolt
Fortunately I was not too far from home and limped back
I did a hard reset by disconnecting the battery connectors and touching them together for 60 secs
That cleared all the Christmas tree apart from 3 warning lights
Amber Air suspension
Flashing green transfer box (also flashing on the centre console hi/lo switch)
Amber Traction control

I dont have an IID, so this morning, popped out and tried your "manual" method of calibrating the transfer box; and hey presto ...it worked Very Happy Transfer box flashing light has stopped and I can now select Hi or Lo
so just the air suspension to sort out now Big Cry

I have noticed that since the transfer box fluid was changed a few months back it does seem to have more of a wine for some reason particularly pull away on hills. It was the genuine Land Rover fluid I used as well. Perhaps this might help?

What do you reckon?

Same here but it is between 20-40mph on my manual tdv6.? Is it worth trying the calibration?

Hi.

I did the calibration to the transfer box clutches. It might made a small different to the drive in the short term, but in the longer term it's back to normal..

It didn't make any difference to the wine. Which is still there since the change.

Cheers Thumbs Up

Tink, Tink, Tink, vice pop click, click

I've been hearing a light-tinking noise, coming from the center of the vehicle. I am assuming the Transfer box/case.

I wondered if this was the shift motor, somehow partially engaging, or said drive gear on the motor.
I ordered a very cheap one off amazon just for the free delivery and to just check to see if it is the motor rather than something in the box.
The noise is akin to maybe the case drive chain trying to pop over or off a chain gear. it is a somewhat high pitch tinking noise, not a solid "clunk".

Did anyone hear this noise of fixed this issue with the said procedure? I have the IID BT and will be doing it in a couple of days as I am out of town working, but it would help me sleep at night knowing I might not have to pull the T case out this coming weekend.
