Replaced the cracked plastic compressor dryer cap with a nice steel one on my D3 (£18 on Ebay including a new seal) and cured the leak so error message and warning light have now gone away.

New prop and two new front wishbones. Wanted to get round to removing downpipe for a decat but the nuts are going to need either grinding off or splitting somehow. Will get round to doing it soon hopefully.

Looked underneath it...and agreed there is a leak...
After a 11 hour drive back from Barcelona arrive home to see middle son's legs sticking out from under the D3...no coolant and split coolant hose typical as he is about to disappear for a 4K road trip on Monday MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone
MY2012 D4 - It kept me hooked...gone
MY2007 D3 - Mid-Life crisis toy continues driving me to bankruptcy...
MY2018 "D5" Si6 - But is it a "true" LR...discuss...but now gone
Back in a D4 with a lot of extras....
Been getting an itch for a new car lately but gave the old girl a clean and she still looks good

You could hire middle son a decent car. Or let him take the D4.

Cleaned the wheels of brake muck using Bilt-Hamber. Must be a year since I cleaned them. Weren't too bad but some little bits of persistent deposit were there. Gone! Well mostly. Another going over soon should have them looking like new. Unlike me. Still a wee dram should help that. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

He could hire his own if that was the case... And I would've given him the D4 if needed but it turned out to be a broken retaining clip...all sorted MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone

Replaced all 4 discs & pad to V8 with kits from AF - when removed OSR disc handbrake shoe lining fell off one of the shoes. Replaced all the shoes too. Just need to do the bed in procedure & job will be complete

Took delivery of some Dr Tranny. Filled via the cooler as per instructions elsewhere on this site. 15 min job and seems to have helped.
Fixed my inoperative remote locking last night. Found, stripped and soldered the 3 green/white wires and all is working once more. Not a 15 min job but made a whole lot easier thanks to info on this site.
