A year of ownership and one failed MOT

Well I brought my MY05 this time last year which had 89000 on the clock, had about £2000 spent on it getting it ready for me.
I had it a month which I did 1k , unfortunately then I broke my leg so couldn't drive it for 4 months. Since then it has done another 7k.
Done a far bit of mods to it. And front ARB bushes and steering column.

So today I thought it would breeze through an MOT and it failed.

Only on a front bottom ball joint but my god they are a pain to change. Just got that finished up and she'll be off for a retest firsts thing in the morning.

I must say the discovery even tho it got more miles then another car iv owned it has got to be the best.

Definitely in my book a keeper for a few years to come.

Mine's just shy of 140,000 and have owned it from new. It's got a few more years in it yet Thumbs Up
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Mine's just shy of 130k and hope she'll last a good many years more. If she doesn't bankrupt me first. Shocked Shocked

Just clocked 120k miles today and will be 8 years old tomorrow. Not one failed MOT in that time. Thumbs Up

I've just fitted a new sump and EAS compressor so I'd better keep it another few years to get my money's worth out of those!

New boots (ATRs) going on next week, Del. Thumbs Up

Then something else goes wrong and keep it another year to get your money back again, then again then again, think that's why we have them so long 😃😃😃😃
