I have been asking questions on excessive smoke and been looking into getting the eyes blanked and while at work on nights I have just taken a look under the plastic casing... Two things really has this already been blanked and two do you think this slit in th hose could be causing the smoke???
Slit in the hose is almost guaranteed to be causing the smoke.Mark.

The main one (the one in the picture) is very easy - just a jubilee clip at either end. The lower end is accessed via a panel at the bottom of the wheel arch (4 plastic rivets).
