As a driver of the lesser spotted manual D4 (6sp) is this relevant to me, is it the same gearbox?
I certainly suffer from a floppy stick & it requires a bit of 'umph' to get it into reverse on occasions.Nick

From microcat it would appear the manual gearboxes are the same.
If that is the case the circlip should fit.

Mine will select reverse ok but is very floppy while in gear but doesn't have a problem selecting the gears. Will this help, I always thought it was play in the linkage.

I am not going to say it will cure it completely. However from my experience the wobble is less and gear selection is much more positive.
