First ever landrover
Hi folks I'm nick from Stockport I'm 39 and have just bought my first ever landrover it's a 2005 (lower tax) disco3 tdv6 auto .
I have had lots of cars in the past and also a couple of touaregs and merc ml's to boot, but never fancied a landrover.
This time around the mrs really wanted to try a disco (as we have also just started caravaning)to which I was very sceptical to say the least after hearing all of the nightmare story's on different sites !
Anyway Saturday came and so we went to view ........ Well the next thing I was reaching for the money out of my pocket !
I can't believe how well it drives it totally amazed me to be honest I was expecting it to be far more agrecutrual then smooth to drive .
Over the last two days of de-blinging it I have totally fallen for it lol , wow what a piece of kit the performance for such a big car has shocked me as has the quality of the ride .

Welcome to the forum!
Lots of useful information on the forum and the search tool works well too - consider it part of the D3 owning experience!

Haha Adam yes that's what the red 7 is about !
Thanks for the nice welcome guys , the car has just started to look rite after taking nearly a tone of chrome off from just about any possable place it could be stuck lol . On the up side it already had the wheels and grill fitted .
Now just to have the towing electrics connected up , rear windows tinted ,d4 rear lights and maybe side bars . The louder you scream the faster the ride
