I'm trying not to think about poor MPG; just like old age, the alternative could be a lot worse

Yep been there done that, didnt like it.
I was thinking of leaving the fold but after using the Disco for my daily trip to Leeds Ive decided against it. It was much more fun than my van and I get 33.3mpg (allegedly) so I cant let it go

23.4mpg average over 12,000 miles, with a best of 27.2.
I try not to think of the 50+ I was used to before making the switch to my Discovery Andy

Return trip to Frankfurt a couple of weeks ago. 28.7 mpg brim to brim assuming odometer correct. Mixed driving up to 95mph on autobahn and stuck in traffic for nearly 2 hrs with air con on.

Yaxman has an V8 on LPG, so although he gets a lower mpg than I do, its still on a par cost wise with a diesel.==================================

driving it like miss daisy no more then 60mph on dual carriageway I can get 29MPG true reading, driving a little bit quicker will drop down to 26mpg. and all around town would put it at 22mpg.
Average over the last 110K miles 24. Best 30 worst something around 15. All measured and not the dash.Mark.
