Got my order of LED bulbs from Advanced Factors (great service, thanks) and now the interior is bright and white when I open the doors rather than the gloom I had before.
In case it's useful to someone, I ordered:

and that was enough to do both vanity mirrors, all the lights in the headlining, both puddle lamps and both number plate lamps with one bulb spare.
So what was my mistake? Dropping the very first vanity light diffuser I took off under the driver's seat and in front of the amp, where it was all but impossible to see, never mind reach. Cue much swearing in the hot weather at lunch time. Got it in the end by getting my compressor out and blowing the diffuser (and much crap) into the second row footwell.
Anyway, I'd say it was 48 quid very well spent: the interior lights are much brighter, whiter and no doubt they'll run on less current and much cooler for what that's worth.

been wanting to do this for a while, especially for the boot which is woeful. I assume D4 bulb pack would be much the same ? Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

D4 interior bulb pack is the same but if I remember rightly some have reported that the D4 doesn't like certain leds in one of the locations, I think it's either the foot well lights or front door puddle lights, they work once and then stop working.

No idea about the D4 but Boringoldgit of Advanced Factors (a sponsor) seems very helpful so maybe ask him?
