Well I finally got mine yesterday, its a 2 previous owner (im the 3rd) 55 plate MY06 (6A on the VIN) HSE, auto, grey, cream leather, full service history (part LR part indy), and 138k miles on the clock.
Had all the major bits done to it as expected for the age, will need 4 new tyres before long though.
Drives like a dream, very comfortable, logic7 is fantastic, as is the autobox, very smooth.
As an added bonus, the original owner is someone right here on disco3! He left a note attached to the owners manual telling the owner to find him on disco3 as he has kept the webasto remote control, to stop it going missing at the dealers, the chap i bought this from never did reqest it, he got it in 2013 so perhaps the original owner still has it? I know his name from the logbook, i wont post it, but its a Paul from Darlington, where I also picked the car up from, so anyone know who this might be? Would be good to confirm some of the cars history with him also.
Only issue I had with the car with the airbag light coming on after I adjusted my seat, but I have read enough on here to know what that was, so thats sorted now!
I spent about 2 hours testing everything and making sure all was good, which it was, however one item i couldnt figure out, and neither could the previous owner, was how to operate the rear audio controls etc, i pluuged my headsets in to several of them but go no sound?
Here is a picture of her, as (another) added bonus it came with a new supercharged grill and leds fitted to the headlamps and the interior main lights!
Permagrin established!
Cheers

Just wanted to say thanks to Disco Mikey for coming down and giving the new motor a thorough health check and various software upgrades; 3 flash and clock on dash amongst others.
Health check showed all the big work has been done, as I had was informed prior to purchase, so car should be solid for a good while, puts my mind at ease now!
Just need to get the new tyres sorted, but am undecided if should go for GG AT or GW Duratrac, I won't do any off roading and mainly motorway miles. But if people are getting 50k a set from the GG AT then that could be the deciding factor!
Top service Mikey, cheers!
