Hi all, I am looking for a rear cargo bay protector, BUT it must be completely water proof on the floor & preferably sides, and take heavy weights IE my wet & heavy & possibly dirty, diving gear. Very occasionally I have to put the second line of passenger seats down for more equipment, but I can live with a system that just covers the rear of the bay. Any recommendations ?

Hi Randalls,
I got mine from Over The Top. It's not one complete cover, comes in 6 parts - floor liner which comes up the sides by 1 or 2 inches, the 2 side panels and 2 panels for the lower tailgate plus seat back panel so may not be suitable if your concerned about water leaking between the joins. It wasn't cheap, but was the best fit I could find. They did give me 20% discount but I got the seat covers as well.

You'll need to get the 'Quiltie' material as it's 100% waterproof. It is material topside with thick waterproof backing plus it is machine washable.
It attaches by velcro to the plastic and takes about 1 hour to fit DIY.
I'll add some photo's when I get D3 back from dealer tonight. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

It is very good quality. The only gripe I have is the sticky velcro tape you have to attach to the interior doesn't seem that sticky. Apparently the D3 isn't velcro friendly! The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

thanks wiggs, that's looks like it might do the job, I assume there is some sort of sticky back velcro fastenings involved here ? 2007 TDV6 HSE 'Silver Lady'. With 'free' privacy glass LOL.

Yeh sides are sticky velcro ...seat backs wrap velcrostraps around headrest...and side parts are held in by a little device that fits down the vents in the side panels...
mine dosent go anywere , but i do have a lot of stuff in there ....
Also can be removed in less than a minute ...and proberly a couple to put it back in again.
preaty much waterproof as the base and sides are all one piece ...the back is connected a small way up then its got velcro so you can drop each seat individually ....you can have it without if you want ..
Hope that made sence G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
