upgrading to touch Screen/Sat Nav |
|
Hi All
Recently bought my first Discovery 2012 SDV6 GS on 62 plate
Its only got the basic stereo but wondered if its possible to upgrade to the touch screen and and controls with the centre clock?
Is it a simple swap or is it a lot of work?
Seen a couple for sale from a breaker
Thanks All
Chris

Did you ever get this sorted? I'm looking to do the same, there is a few sat nav head units and screens on ebay or plenty in the breakers. Is the existing wiring loom suitable? is it just a matter of splitting the center console taking out the old screen and head unit and fitting the sat nav head unit, clock button panel, lcd screen and GPS aerial.. plug and play?
