Fault mate Northern Scotland

Following on from my previous post - Urgent help required Airbag light on

I have tried all the suggestions from the chaps that kindly replied and have come to the conclusion that it needs to be linked up and fault codes read.

Staying up in Wick and need to find a solution to why my airbag light is on so I can get it through MOT. Its urgent as I leave for Bristol 6am Saturday morning and don't really want to drive all that way without an MOT.

Can anybody help? I am willing to travel and of course pay for the service.

Pop the airbag put, fiddle with the wires, and pop it back in.

If that doesn't work, unbolt the connector under either front seat, have a fiddle, and bolt it back up again. See if either of those make a difference Thumbs Up My D3 Build Thread

This might sound really daft but where would I find the connector under the seat? from the front or back? What does it look like. Does the airbag just pop off from the front or do I need to disconnect the steering wheel?

If all else fails where are you based? Would you be able to help out an idiot in distress tomorrow? I know its a long shot but I really need to get an MOT sorted before the drive home on Saturday.
