Had a quick 5 minutes along the road and they are great.
I wired in the turning light facility as well and that's great. Maybe need to adjust the fogs levels, but otherwise they are a great improvement.
Just one issue, they stay on for a couple of minutes after turning the engine off.
I wired perm live into the empty plug for the sensor behind the grill.
Not too much of a problem, but if I could change them going off with ignition that would be better.
Any suggestions where to wire into?

Because despite the fact that they may be ece type approved peeps are still getting ticketed because uk lighting regs say that a fog light can only be a fog light.
I would keep something in the motor which demonstrates compliance e.g info on E mark21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
But when the fogs are off, they're (presumably) not a fog beam, and so perfectly legal as DRLs. As you say though, still a good idea to keep something in the car. Passed many traffic police, and VOSA bods, as well as passed MOTs with them fitted. Never had an issue
FWIW, according to the MOT manual, the DRL only has to dim if it is replacing the sidelight function My D3 Build Thread

It has an E1 designation for sure and this should confirm legality ...but I've read of great confusion even amongst the boys in blue ..so printing off the spec sheet from Osram and keeping it in the glovebox may save some potential aggravation. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I'll keep a copy in the glove box then.

Yes, a few mm from around the pull off bezel. Just used as pair of aviation snips to cut round it as required.

As above, I've noticed a few times and issue with the DRL's staying on too long or even not coming on at all. I suspect it is to do with the switched live being from the empty sensor plug.
Anyone else noticed this?
Where else is easy to wire into?
