Gone Retro! rear lights
Well both of the D4 LED rear lights had condensation in them, the nearside had about a cupfull of water in there!!!!
So put my original ones back on while I dry them and re-seal........to be honest quite liking the look

I've always likes the look of the D3 lights but the D4 ones should be less troublesome.Displaced Yorkshireman.

I actually think the D3 lights suit the car myself. I just hate with a passion the orange bit. I know I may be opening an argument saying that but I just can't stand it myself.
Actually just had an idea. I wonder if the orange part could be painted red and then an amber led bulb fitted. If I could do that I would keep the standard light units and go for led bulbs.Jarrod
Current : D3 2007 HSE - AKA the lemon
-beanie grille
-detango with led bulbs
-club body off rebuild. TWICE.

I seem to remember red transparent tape from halfords that you would be able to place over the orange part but may turn a funny colour when lit

Took the ladder off now as well (sold) and I have to say I really like the 'Retro' look, may end up sticking with this look (Although I may have to sort that number plate out! )
