Sentimental or what!
So pootling along to the Rebellion Brewery this afternoon and noticed that Tonka just passed 150,000 miles. Absolutely love the car, it has been a fabulous car from new carrying the family (5 people, two Dalmatians, roof box and fully laden) safely to and back from UK to the Alps twice every year and all the other useful things that this car is capable off.
It hasn't been cheap to run: two compressors, 3 alternators, one new sat nav/display, two front lower assemblies and oh nearly forget reconditioned gear box and torque converter.
Looking forward to getting it to 250,000 - wondering about some preventive work such as oil pump replacement to protect the engine - any other suggestions.
Cheers,
Duncan
