Stolen- T3 CDO_Tonga Green Discovery 3 HSE
I was informed yesterday that my prized Tonga Green Disco was stolen from a body shop in Plymouth, Devon, in the early hours of yesterday morning it was due for delivery back to my house this weekend after getting some paint work touched up.
It dosent help matters me working overseas and not due back till Dec. I don't suppose it will turn up, it will probably be broken down and sold as parts.
My wife will be talking to the insurance company on my behalf, hopefully they won't muck her about, as I have sent them an email.
Regards Tony

Agree... Bodyshops insurance,
My mates car was fire damaged whilst in for repair.... It wasnt his car that went up in flames but 1 adjacent to it.but the heat caused severe damage..the repairers insurance covered the loss meaning his NCD was intactIf it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

yep as already mentioned "body shops insurance", in fact what have the body shop done to assist you further than letting you know it's been stolen??Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

If the OP is out of the country, demanding a like-for-like is going to raise eyebrows. In fact demanding a like-for like under most circumstances is asking for trouble. Every party to a claim has a legal responsibility to minimise losses - and we ALL end up paying more with every claim that exaggerates costs. Remember that the hire companies charge three figures sums PER DAY for high-end 4x4 hire and that all has to come out of the common pool of premiums.
Slating inbound from those that know no better in 5, 4, 3, 2....I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
