in that case yes, wheel will fit with your standard wheel nuts, its just the standard RR tyres are the wrong spec (not weight rated high enough). Those of us who have run 20's on the D3 have gone with either 275/45x20, or 295/45x20, rated at 111 or higher (I used General Grabber 295/45x20 114V)
A few of us have noticed a slight wheel shimmer with 20's, as the D3 doesnt use a dampened steering rack (unlike RRS), although others have been fine. just be warned that if you fit 20's, and have a steering wobble/shimmy, its likely to be this.

Thank you so much Al. In that case, I think I am going to stick with my 19s. Besides, I have my doubt how well they will perform during offroadings.
CAN'T WAIT TO PICK HER UP ON TUESDAY!!!
BTW, Anyone has photos of their cars fitted with the "steelies" from Australia??? Would LOVE to see how they look.....

Wonder if anyone can assist with this :
I saw a set of black rims on a D3 converted by Matzker (German brand) in a Landrover magazine maybe last year. Have tried search engine here to locate the brand / name / costs, but unsuccessful.
Can anyone help me out as I really like the look of these rims - maybe I wont like the price!
Thanks

They might just be the black 6 spoke 19" alloys used as spares on the RRS but actually HSE D3 wheels.

After a bit more research,,,
If one goes here:
http://www.frogsisland4x4.com/index.php?op...;Itemid=51
and opens the Disco D3 gallery, the pics of the wheels are DSCO3209 and DSCO3208
They are a graphite grey powder coated 8 spoke with scolloped "spokes"
I think they look well cool, wondered if they were available over here in the UK as Frogs Island do not mention any aftermarket wheels in their D3 product listing.
Thanks for help so far.

those dont look like any genuine LR alloys I've seen, must be aftermarket wheels.
Al TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony
(and 19" RRS alloys, and 20" RRS alloys, and 19" RRS alloys, and........, satnav & DVD)

They look very much like the wheels 'Penguin' (a member in Belgium ) had on his . (See his gallery). I think he had a problem where one of them cracked so beware, if they are the same.

The very same thanks.
Wonder if I should cease the "quest" now if there are issues with reliablilty unless of course they were subject to extreme abuse?

Yup, same as mine and same spare-wheel carrier
It are performance BBS or BB6 wheels
After the replacement, I had no problems any more.
I'm just back from Corsica, and did some off-road there, no more cracks In a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
