I'm still struggling to get either done properly. Dealer who sold car have been fairly hopeless. Presume under warranty I can get another dealer to sort it? Thoughts welcome...

As the foam has worked for some people, I will look at that today to see if it is sealing correctly.

I have raised it with LR CRC, to be fair to my dealer they have spent a lot of time and effort on this for me.

You can use any dealer under warranty.

Mine went in for first service yesterday. Assured twice they'd done 908 and 963. Got car home and checked temperature against two other vehicles which both read 7 degrees and the Discovery read 10 degrees so no change and it'll be going back again in the New Year for the Dealer to sort the temperature reading and a few other issues they failed to resolve. Sorry for jumping in at the end of this but don't have the stamina to go through from the beginning. Banging Head

No me, my folks' MY16 Landmark has the crap heating, dad had the heating up at 24c and his left foot was numb on a long drive today. They know they need to get it in to sort but I don't want any "we've never heard of this" or "operating as designed" carp. Is it getting any better when dealing with the dealer, do they have to just quote LTB00963 and say apply that please?

Get both of these...

LTB 00908 relates to ambient temp reading high
LTB 00963 relates to HVAC
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Unless it was in stock for a while Del, you shouldn't need LTB0908. I think your folks got theirs after me and it had been fixed on builds quite a while before that.

But compare outside temp and see if that looks ok against another car.

Build date was Feb, even though it was registered in September. Good old LR building cars to sit in a field for half a year. Rolling Eyes

I've told them to compare with a thermometer, not what Google says the temp is in Cardiff. Shocked

The incorrect external temperature with the fix LTB 00908 appeared to be on the VIN range 777507 - 813795 Thumbs Up

Scotland 2016 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 Landmark LE Auto ZanzibarDiscovery 4

Thanks to Del for helping me with the info on the LTB00963 - the VIN on our Landmark falls within it, so is now booked for Monday for inspection/repair. Very useful to have the LTB to hand to discuss with the service reception over the phone, much appreciated Del.
