Just get it changed. My D3 has massive main dealer history, including all the belts, including bolts and new tensioner. BUT NO NEW OIL PUMP. This is because LR don think there is an issue with them. I've just bitten the bullet and paid to have new one fitted. I can now relax knowing it's safe.

A recent case, with low milage, and new belts fitted

Definitely replacing the pump asap, regardless of what I have presently. Better safe than sorry.

Just requested an appointment at the stealers..

Find yourself a good independent garage, and build a relationship with them. It will work out far cheaper than main dealer.
Got my pump from this site, here

Hi and welcome!

I have travelled more or less the same route, comming from Subaru Forester to Discovery. Althoug, I wouldn't call my Ol' Forester boring - XT manual with Prodrive Performance Pack; scared a few Porsche and BMW owners on the motorway Very Happy
