I know about the horn sound when door is not locked. You are saying it will not make a sound if rear door isnt locked? Shocked

England 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Manual Java BlackDiscovery 3

Hi all I've been looking on here for hours for how to open my nsr door as it is locked and cannot open it!! Ive tried pressing the unlock button and pulling the outside door handle but still nothing. I've taken the door card off and window regulator but I'm stuck now as of how to open the door to get to the latch mechanism!! Any info would be greatly appreciated

I've been there Johny.

My OS door was locked for week. Then unexpectedly opened one morning. I drove to the garage with open door as no one knew if it would open again after being closed and the latch screws are on the concealed side of the door when shut.
Have you got fully charged battery?
Have you performed master reset (or whatever it is called)?

Cant advise you anything else.
