System shut down

System shut down Report post

first time yesterday and twice today the dash, sat nav and radio shutdown and then reappear 5 to 10mins later.

last time it was showing hdc and epb fault but cleared on restarting

fault codes show

Audio System
• U0010-87 (2Cool Medium speed CAN communication bus - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

Oh no its not!

new battery fitted!

same occurs the next morning enroute to sort front Diff!

entrusted to local indie who reports battery terminals loose ( thanks to battery fitter from the orange shop)

tightened up all faults cleared.

drive home from South coast all uneventful as was drive into work.

Lunchtime dreaded " Vehicle Fault _ system shutting down" on Radio

radio stops sat nav dissapears as does trip and time temp on dash

lights and indicators gone.. drives ok

comes back after 1 min only to go down again 3 mins later again for 1 min.

All working now but fault codes reading

Did you get to the bottom of this? Just had manual gearbox replaced and now have this error coming up. If I’m driving then no issues I can keep going and it restarts when it wants to.. if the engine is not running then the central locking cycles and it won’t start. 2 D3 ‘s’ ambulance conversions and 2 D3 ‘SE’ for home (His and Hers)
