VIBRATION ON DISCO 3

Hi new to the forum sorry my first post is troubleshooting but hopefully someone can set my mind at ease.

I was going down the dual carriageway at normal speed when the car (disco 3)started juddering and gradually built up getting worse and worse, I thought it was a puncture so I stopped and checked all the tyres.

nothing was wrong so I got back in and drove off and all was fine as if the car just needed resetting.
any one have any ideas.

apologies again for wanting assistance on first post

Don't discount sticky a caliper... probably worth the next time it happens is to stop and see if any of the brakes are excessively hot. Si
