Towing a trailer in a wet field
Hello,
I used my Disco for one of its intended purposes last weekend. I took my Elise to a Werrington Hillclimb down here in Cornwall (on the trailer). Towing on road is great but its off road where the Disco nails it.
After a day of having cars drive around the paddock and rain, the grass is a bit "tired" but the Disco pulled the car out perfectly with no fuss in grass mode and low range. This bodes well for other venues that have harder access, and various other slimy grass scenarios I tend to encounter.
Sorry, next time ill get a photo of the entire setup for the trailer fanciers among you.

I'm with Tayaste...the stretch of grass at the end of the car park in Port Isaac looked a bit more than "tired" after I eventually got off!Previously owned an '08 D3 HSE in Stornoway grey but jumped ship to see what the Swedes have to offer.

Used to follow the hill climbs many years ago , loved the one at heartland point
Wet grass is ok , UNTIL you start to go slightly up hill with a trailer on then , once your tyre tread fills up your on slicks -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

Is hairy days not from falling off a track and not being able to get back on to it?
Not from digging holes in a field?

Wet grass can be a nightmare no matter what car or tyres you have. I regularly haul stuff across paddocks and would say I'm fairly experienced but even now still have the odd problem requiring tractor recovery even got stuck in clumbar park once MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten
